Half-Rimmed (Supra)
A popular choice for those looking for a ‘minimalist' look without wanting to incur the expense of a rimless frame. This usually refers to the frame having a ‘rim' across the top of the frame, with an invisible nylon thread to hold the lens in the frame a the bottom. However, this can be reversed, where there is frame at the bottom rather than the top, which is a popular choice for reading glasses, as they are easier to ‘look over' into the distance.
